Harry Gruner

Mr. Gruner is currently a General Partner of JMI Equity in the Baltimore Maryland office.

Mr. Gruner began his business career in 1982 as a financial analyst in the Technology Group of the Corporate Finance Department of Blyth Eastman PaineWebber, Inc. In 1985, he joined the marketing department of Sigma Design, Inc., a UNIX-based, computer aided design (CAD) software developer. In 1986, Harry joined the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of Alex Brown, where he specialized in advising software, information and computer services companies. In 1991, he joined the Corporate Finance Department as a Principal in Alex Brown's Technology Group, where he continued to advise software, information and computer services companies in a wide variety of transactions.

Mr. Gruner joined JMI in 1992. He is a member of the board of directors of Control Point Solutions, Corliant, Inc., Courion Corporation, CyberTech Systems, Inc., Intellitactics, Inc., META Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: METG) and PROS Revenue Management, Inc.

Harry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
