Patrick Cairns
Mr. Cairns is a Vice President with Grotech Capital Group, a diversified private equity firm with approximately $1 billion under management. Prior to joining Grotech in 1999, Mr. Cairns was a financial analyst in the Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking Group of Alex. Brown and Sons, and subsequently BT Alex. Brown and Deutsche Bank, where he focused on broadcasting companies and telecommunications service providers.
At Grotech, Mr. Cairns is focused on a broad range of technology and communications-oriented investment opportunities. He is an observer to the boards of Bluefire Security, BroadSoft , FieldGlass , Hatteras Networks, iBiquity Digital, iVivity , USinternetworking and Ziptronix , and has previously worked closely with Advertising.com, WebOS , and Megisto Systems, and MultiCity.
Mr. Cairns has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Politics from Princeton University .
