Bill Fox
Bill Fox is a successful entrepreneur and international business leader, with personal interests in Israel. He is a Co-Founder and immediate past Chairman of the Board of GoIndustry plc, an international, Internet based asset disposition, valuation and management company with 35 offices in 17 countries around the world. Based in London, GoIndustry is a public company listed on the London Stock Exchange and the parent company of Baltimore-based Michael Fox International, Inc., one of the United States' largest commercial and industrial real estate and machinery auction companies. Bill is also a founder, President and CEO of Fox Residential Auctions, LLC, a real estate auction marketing company.
Bill is past President and Chairman of the Board of the Auction Marketing Institute, and is a charter member of the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI). Bill was a member of the teaching faculty of the CAI program at Indiana University for over 20 years, is a past member of the Board of Directors of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), a past President of the Auctioneers Association of Maryland, and the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the NAA Education Institute. He lectures at seminars sponsored by the NAA and is a sought after speaker at auction and real estate industry meetings throughout the country. Mr. Fox is co-author of the book, SOLD! The Professional’s Guide to Real Estate Auctions and has authored numerous articles on the auction method of marketing. In July 2005, he was inducted into the National Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame. Mr. Fox is also a lawyer, a licensed real estate broker and his other business accomplishments include a 5‑year career in the securities industry as a senior executive with two New York Stock Exchange member firms.
In addition to his business activities, Mr. Fox is a member of the National Executive Council of the America Israel Public Affairs Committee, Chairman of State of Israel Bonds for the state of Maryland and sits on the Boards of numerous civic, charitable and religious organizations including Shoresh, Sports Boosters of Maryland and the Beth Tfiloh Congregation.
Academically, Mr. Fox attended the University of North Carolina and Johns Hopkins University and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University Of Baltimore School Of Law.
He and his wife Myra live in Baltimore and have four daughters and seven grandchildren.
