Mark Wesker

Mr. Wesker is President and CEO of Artifact Software. Mark brings over 12 years of experience in the software industry. As the co-founder of Sequoia Software in 1992, Mark served as President and Chief Operating Officer from Sequoia's beginning, through its transition to a public company, and until it was acquired by Citrix Systems, Inc. in May 2001. During his tenure, Mark administered the full lifecycle of Sequoia's operations; from corporate financing; product development; sales, marketing and business development; all the way through to service and support.

As part of Sequoia's executive team, Mark helped lead the sale of Sequoia to Citrix in May 2001 for $185M in cash. Following the acquisition, Mark served as Citrix's Vice President of Internet Strategy and a member of Citrix's executive management team.

In 2002, together with several other ex-Sequoians, Mark co-founded Artifact. He serves as the Company's President/CEO, and Board Chairman. Mark is also an investor in the Company.

Mark serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Greater Baltimore Technology Council and is part of the team that created the Council's Early Adopter Program. Mark is also a member of the Governor’s Commission on Technology. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor degree.
